Ice dams form when snow melts on a warm roof and refreezes at the cold edge. Water backs up behind the ice, gets under the shingles and can leak into ceilings and walls.
We clear snow from the roof edge and remove ice dams so meltwater can drain again. Call as soon as you see heavy icicles or water stains. It's much cheaper than repairing the damage later.
